ArmInfo. For the first time, Yerevan will host the InsureTek Armenia 2026 international forum on June 4, initiated and organized by the Armenian Motor Insurers' Bureau (AMIB). According to a statement from the Bureau, the goal of InsureTek Armenia 2026 is to position Armenia as a regional hub for professional dialogue and innovative cooperation within the insurance sector.
Ahead of this forum, the Armenian Motor Insurers' Bureau (AMIB) and the international organization GAIP (Global Association of InsurTech Professionals) signed a cooperation agreement on May 11, marking the launch of a new international platform for insurance and insurtech in Armenia.
"For the Armenian Motor Insurers' Bureau, it is vital not only to support the current development of the insurance system but also to attract international expertise, technological innovations, and best-in-class industry solutions to Armenia. InsureTek Armenia 2026 is a strategic initiative by the Bureau through which we are building a new platform for international cooperation and stimulating the integration of the Armenian insurance market into global processes," noted Mr. Yeghiazaryan He further emphasized the critical importance of strategic support from the Central Bank of Armenia, as well as the active engagement and collaborative efforts of the Bureau's member insurance companies in organizing and executing the event.
Aftab Hasan, Founder and Chairman of GAIP, commended the initiative shown by the Armenian Motor Insurers' Bureau in hosting this international forum. He stated: "GAIP Founder and Chairman Aftab Hasan, in turn, praised the initiative of the Armenian Motor Insurers' Bureau in organizing the international forum in Armenia. We are confident that InsureTek Armenia 2026 will become a major international platform, uniting leading industry players and driving the development of innovation in the region."
The InsureTek Armenia 2026 International Forum will bring together leading insurance experts, regulators, and insurtech innovators to discuss current industry trends, digital transformation opportunities, and the future of insurance.
