ArmInfo. In Q1 2026, revenue growth in Armenia's communications sector slowed to 4% year-on-year, down from 6% in the same period last year, totaling AMD 42.2 billion, according to data from the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
The telecommunications segment continues to account for the lion's share of total revenue, contributing 93.8% (AMD 39.6 billion), representing a year-on-year increase of 4.5%.
In March alone, revenue in the communications sector rose by 9.3% to AMD 14.8 billion. Of this amount, the telecommunications segment accounted for AMD 13.9 billion, showing an 8% increase for the month.
For comparison, in Q1 2025, revenue growth in the communications slowed from 6.6% to 6%, totaling AMD 40.7 billion. During that period, the telecommunications segment grew by 1.5%, generating AMD 38 billion in revenue.
