
ArmInfo. At its meeting on May 21, the RA Government approved the agreement "On cooperation between CIS countries in the development of heavy engineering industries."
As noted in the project's rationale, the agreement was signed on June 5, 2025, and aims to create favorable conditions for mutually beneficial and effective cooperation between CIS enterprises operating in this sector. The document aims to develop industrial production by increasing cooperation volumes, introducing new production technologies, conserving resources, ensuring environmental safety, and enhancing product competitiveness. Implementation of the agreement will create favorable conditions for cooperation between interested government agencies, industrial enterprises, and organizations in the sector, for the introduction and application of scientific and technological advances in production, and for the promotion of finished products.
