ArmInfo. The Agrobot Center of Excellence in Agricultural Engineering in Agricultural Robotics and Mechatronics, has opened at the National Agrarian University of Armenia.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, the Center of Excellence was established under the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development's "Additional Financing of the Education Improvement Program", loan program with the support of the Competitive Innovation Fund.
The budget for the project, "Creation of the Center of Excellence in Agricultural Engineering in Agricultural Robotics and Mechatronics," was over 118 million drams.
The center, which meets modern requirements, will provide an impetus for the reform and modernization of educational and scientific processes in this field. It will also contribute to the training of competitive specialists in the field and strengthen the university-labour market connection.
