ArmInfo.Armenian defense industry companies are participating in the international defense technology exhibition Eurosatory 2026, which opened today in Paris, as stated by Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, Armenia's Minister of High-Tech  Industry, on his Facebook page.

He also announced his participation, noting that he has arrived in Paris at the invitation of France's Minister of the Armed Forces and Veterans, Catherine Vautrin.

He reported that Armenia's production and research potential is being  represented at the exhibition by 18 industry companies at a unified  national pavilion, with an additional 12 companies attending as  visitors.  The Minister noted that the Armenian-French technological  partnership has gained significant momentum following the official  visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Armenia in May of this  year. "The memorandum signed between the Ministry of High-Tech  Industry of Armenia and the Ministry of Defense of the French  Republic has opened new opportunities for both countries, and this  current visit marks the practical implementation of the agreements  reached," Hayrapetyan stated.

According to the Minister, the development of a defense industry  equipped with the latest technologies is one of the top priorities  for the Armenian government's agenda. "The prestigious Eurosatory  2026 exhibition provides our country with an unprecedented  opportunity to establish international connections in the defense  sector, expand our production and research capabilities, and explore  foreign markets," he noted.

Held since 1967, this year's exhibition has brought together more  than 2,300 companies from 66 countries, represented by 42 national  pavilions. The event features a schedule of over 120 panel  discussions and live demonstrations.

The core agenda focuses on cooperation prospects in  defense  manufacturing, unmanned systems, reconnaissance technologies, modern  weaponry, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence, as well as  industry development trends and innovative solutions to address  current challenges.
