
ArmInfo. A honey festival will be held in the village of Khors in Armenia's Vayots Dzor Province on July 25, according to the RA Tourism Committee.
The source notes that this will be the first time the festival has been held. It emphasizes that the festival is an important step towards COP17, the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity. The festival is being held as part of the program "Mitigating the Growing Conflict Between Humans and Wildlife Caused by Climate Change."
It was funded by the UK government through the Darwin Initiative and the Bears in Mind foundation.
