ArmInfo.Citizens in Armenia can now authorize a third party to fill out and submit their income tax declarations, according to the press service of the State Revenue Committee (SRC).
As clarified by SRC employee Sona Aghajanyan, the the authorized representative will be able to log into the system on behalf of the declarant, submit the declaration, and perform other necessary actions, such as filing social expense reimbursement applications.
According to her, a dedicated section has already been created in the web version of the Unified Electronic Services System for individuals to facilitate the process.
According to Aghajanyan, the procedure is straightforward. The declarant enters the authorized person's details on their own profile page, after which the designated representative either accepts or declines the request from their respective profile. If necessary, the declarant can also set a validity period for the authorization.
Alternatively, citizens can visit the State Revenue Committee in person and provide the required information to complete the setup. Note: While a digital signature is not mandatory for the declarant, it is compulsory for the authorized representative.
