ArmInfo. The strategic project implemented by Firebird will create new opportunities for the scientific research community, startups, high-tech companies, and the public sector.

Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia Mkhitar Hayrapetyan stated this during a visit to Firebird AI's Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Processing Center (DPC) in Hrazdan (Kotayk Province).

He also noted the project's importance for Armenia's technological development and increasing its international competitiveness.

The minister was accompanied by Firebird AI co-founder Alexander Yesayan during his visit. During his visit, Hayrapetyan was introduced to the current state of the AI Factory, preparatory work for commissioning, the technological infrastructure, high-performance computing systems, and the final technical work being carried out before the center's grand opening. During the tour, the next stages of the project's development were also discussed.

The investment volume for the first phase of the project is $500 million (6,144 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs), and upon completion of the second phase, the total investment will reach approximately $5 billion, with the commissioning of approximately 42,000 more GPUs.

"Thanks to the joint collaboration between the Armenian government and Firebird, the country is transforming from a technology consumer into a state offering the world high-tech solutions and products in the field of artificial intelligence and ready to shape the rules of the game of the future," the Ministry of High-Tech Industry stated in a statement.
