
ArmInfo. Armenia has recorded the highest growth in passenger and freight traffic among the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
According to EAEU statistics, the first half of 2026 compared to the previous year saw an increase in both total passenger turnover across the EAEU (by 0.5%) and various national indicators: Armenia led with 7.3%, followed by Belarus (7.2%), Kazakhstan (5.1%), and Kyrgyzstan (4.9%). Additionally, during the reporting period, growth in freight transportation was recorded in Armenia (12.1%), Kyrgyzstan (3.1%), Kazakhstan (2%), and Belarus (1.5%).
