ArmInfo. In January-August 2026, Armenia was visited by 1.467 million tourists, 1.7% below the figure recorded a year earlier.
According to the press service of the Tourism Committee, 227,026 tourists arrived in the country in August alone, which is 14.2% higher than in July 2026, but 32.1% lower compared to August 2025.
Traditionally, Russian citizens account for the largest share of tourists (40%), followed by tourists from Georgia (14%), Iran (8%), China, Germany and the United States (2% each), Ukraine (1.38%), France (1.32%), Italy and India (1% each), and others.
