Modernization of border infrastructure, construction of reservoirs, and waste management were discussed at a meeting between Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan and a delegation led by Elisabetta Falchetti, Executive Director for Turkey and the Caucasus at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Finance, the parties also discussed the EBRD's possible participation in regional infrastructure projects within the framework of the Crossroads of the World initiative, their feasibility studies, and future financing.
Hovhannisyan congratulated Falchetti on her appointment as Executive Director for the Caucasus and the EBRD Representative in Armenia. The bank's representatives confirmed their readiness to continue supporting Armenia's economic development and government reforms.
