ArmInfo. Armenia and the EU discussed the further development of cooperation in high technology, artificial intelligence (AI), digital infrastructure, and cybersecurity. This was reported by the press service of the high-tech industry, citing the results of a meeting between the head of the department, David Tadevosyan, and the EU Ambassador to Armenia, Vasilis Maragos.
They also discussed opportunities for exporting Armenian high-tech products and digital services to the European market. Particular attention was paid to expanding cooperation in the areas of access for Armenian companies to European markets, as well as standards and certification procedures.
According to the source, the interlocutors touched on the possibilities of integrating Armenia into the European research and computing ecosystem, implementing joint AI projects, and establishing links between Armenia's technological potential and European partners. During the meeting, Tadevosyan and Maragos discussed the implementation of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), as well as issues of cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, and the development of secure digital communications.
