According to the press service of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, the meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of MTAI Kristine Ghalechyan and Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran Reza Akbari.

The parties discussed mechanisms for upgrading border infrastructure and increasing freight traffic volumes.

The Norduz border terminal is a crucial link in trade relations between Iran and Armenia, with high potential for increasing regional cargo traffic.
