ArmInfo. Sevak Mikaelyan has become a member of the Board of the Central Bank of Armenia. This was confirmed following the results of a secret ballot held in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on October 30.

Of the 105 parliamentarians, 91 voted in favor of the candidate, with 63 votes cast in favor and 28 against.

The Board of the Central Bank consists of 8 members. The members are elected by the National Assembly for a six-year term.
