ArmInfo. From October 5 to 9, a decrease in dollar and ruble transactions was observed on the Armenian interbank currency market, although euro transactions resumed a month later. In particular, the trend in dollar transactions reversed from a 79% increase to a 98% decline, which was also observed in ruble transactions, which reversed from an 18.3% increase to a 25.2% decline.

According to the RA Statistics Committee, in August alone, trade turnover in Armenia grew by 1.3% (almost the same as a year ago - 1.2%), amounting to 620.1 billion drams ($1.7 billion).

ArmInfo. In Armenia, from January to August 2026, the volumes of virtually all alcoholic beverages produced in the country increased, with the exception of vodka, liqueur, and whiskey. ArmInfo.  In Armenia, 7,027 million kWh of electricity was generated in January-August 2026, which is 8% higher than the same period last year (versus a 7.1% increase a year ago).

According to data from the RA Statistical Committee, foreign trade turnover with the EU accelerated in annual growth from 5.6% to 53.9%, exceeding $2.4 billion, while with the EAEU it slowed in decline from 49.9% to 17.2%, amounting to $3.85 billion. Moreover, among the EAEU countries, only Russia recorded a decline in volumes, while most EU countries chose to increase volumes.
