ArmInfo. From January 1, 2022, a system of universal declaration of property and income will be launched in Armenia. This was announced on February 26 by Deputy  Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia Arman Poghosyan at a  meeting of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of the National  Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

According to him, attempts are being made to accelerate the  implementation of the system, but taking into account the available  capabilities and resources, the deadline for its implementation is  set from January 1, 2022.

In turn, Committee Chair Babken Tunyan, announced the start of the  process of developing a concept for amendments to the Tax Code. The  document will be reflected as a project on the universal declaration  of property and income, as well as mortgages, as well as other  problematic issues on the agenda. He noted that the development of  the concept will be handled by both specialists in the field and  members of parliament.

It should be noted that at present only the law "On the declaration  of property and income by senior officials of the authorities" is  applied.
