
ArmInfo. The state will direct 50 million drams on the development of business plans for 50 unemployed citizens - beneficiaries of the small business assistance program of the State Employment Agency of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the official statement of the department, another 10 million drams were allocated for the services of a consulting company, which, in connection with the restriction of freedom of movement of citizens, will conduct seminars in remote mode. It is reported that an agreement was reached with an outsourcing consulting company, in which 33 people are currently undergoing training.
According to the source, a course is held with citizens who have expressed a desire to become a beneficiary of the program, assistance is provided in the preparation of business plans, the submitted business plans are evaluated, etc. According to the established procedure, the State Employment Agency will provide funding only to those programs that have received a positive assessment from consulting company.
The program will be implemented within 2 years, in the case of seasonal work - 24 months.
It is reported that between 2014 and 2019, 340 people started entrepreneurial activities under this program. As of January 1, 2020, 90% of them continue to develop their business.
