ArmInfo.On April 20 and April 27, at the platform of the Eurasian Economic Commission, under the chairmanship of Minister for Energy and Infrastructure of the EEC Temirbek Asanbekov, a meeting of the heads of the authorized bodies of the states of the Eurasian Economic Union was held to discuss the fundamental issues of forming a common EAEU gas market.
The EEC Minister emphasized the importance of the procedure for completing the approval of the draft international agreement on the formation of the Union's common gas market, which is to be signed this year. He expressed confidence in the common interest of the parties in a constructive dialogue and the development of mutually acceptable solutions.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the uncoordinated provisions of the agreement on the formation of a common gas market, uniform rules for access to gas transmission systems and the procedure for exchanging gas trading. Disagreements have been removed on a number of contentious issues. The heads of the authorized bodies stressed the need to reach consensus on all outstanding issues as soon as possible. Asanbekov informed the meeting participants about the further consideration of the acts regulating the common gas market of the Union at the regular meeting of the EEC Board.
