ArmInfo. The first robotic surgery was performed in Armenia yesterday. Armen Muradyan, Rector of Yerevan State Medical University, shared this information on his Facebook page.
According to him, robotic surgery has already become a reality in the country. "The first robotic surgery in Armenia was performed at the SlavMed Medical Center. I am pleased and proud that the first urological surgery was performed - a robotic partial nephrectomy. And most importantly, the surgery was successful. It was performed by our colleague, urologist Mher Mkhitaryan," the rector wrote.
