
ArmInfo. Armenia's economic activity index rose by 9.1% in 2025, as noted by Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan on social media.
He emphasized that this growth was reflected in all economic sectors, with several industries reaching double-digit figures. Specifically, the construction sector grew by 20%, and the service sector by more than 10%. Agriculture, industry, and trade sectors also saw significant increases. "There is not a single sector of the economy where we did not see noticeable growth," Papoyan noted. "This is not just a statistical indicator, but a tangible change in the quality of life."
In this regard, the Minister reported that over 45,000 new jobs were created in Armenia throughout 2025, and the average salary exceeded 400,000 drams.
