
ArmInfo. Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Armenia imported the most black caviar from Russia last year, the federal center Agroexport told RIA Novosti.
According to Agroexport's preliminary estimates, Russia exported $20 million (700 tons) worth of caviar to foreign markets last year-a third more than the previous year. Of this volume, sturgeon caviar, or black caviar, accounted for over $3.8 million.
The largest buyers of this type of caviar were Kazakhstan with a 27% share, Belarus with 15%, and Armenia with 8%, the federal center reported.
