
ArmInfo.Armenia intends to deepen cooperation with Montenegro in tourism. This was announced following a meeting between Lusine Gevorgyan, Chairperson of the Armenian Tourism Committee, and Simonida Kordic, Minister of Tourism of Montenegro.
Specifically, they discussed bilateral cooperation in tourism, including changes to the visa regime, tourism statistics, and the latest developments in the industry.
The parties also touched on the use of digitalization and artificial intelligence tools, as well as opportunities for collaboration in international exhibitions, festivals, and other events. Both sides emphasized the importance of launching direct flights to Tivat in April 2026, which will contribute to the growth of tourist flows. According to a statement from the Tourism Committee, the Armenian side presented a draft memorandum of cooperation in tourism aimed at deepening bilateral ties and ensuring the sustainable development of the industry.

According to the RA Statistics Committee, only 399 tourists from Montenegro visited Armenia in 2025, which is 2.5 times higher than the 2024 figure.
