ArmInfo. Qatar is interested in deepening cooperation with Armenia in high technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and investment. This was stated by Qatar's Ambassador to Armenia, Mansour Abdullah Salem Saad Al-Sulaiteen, during a meeting with Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan.
Highly commending Armenia's technological potential, the diplomat confirmed their readiness to facilitate the implementation of joint initiatives.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for developing cooperation between Armenia and Qatar in high technology, emphasizing the importance of realizing existing potential and advancing joint programs.
Particular attention was paid to strengthening ties in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and semiconductors, as well as the role of scientific and educational institutions in training highly qualified specialists and implementing joint research and engineering projects.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue active dialogue with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations and ensuring practical results.
