ArmInfo. One of the largest international exhibitions in the field of leasing and financial solutions in Armenia, LEASING EXPO 2026, will be held in Yerevan from April 10th to 12th.
The event aims to provide businesses with access to financial resources to modernize their production facilities and stimulate the implementation of new technologies in Armenia. This, in turn, will lead to increased competitiveness of their products and services, as well as increased labor productivity.
As part of the event, beneficiaries will have the opportunity to receive interest rate subsidies on loans/leasing provided by financial institutions operating in the Republic of Armenia, in national or foreign currencies.
The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia joined the event as an official partner. The exhibition will be held at the Meridian Expo Center.
As a reminder, at a parliamentary commission meeting on March 20, Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan noted that over the past 30 years, labor productivity in Armenia has increased to $5.6 per hour, and has doubled in the last eight years alone, reaching $11.7 per hour.
The Armenian Economy Minister noted that government policy played a significant role in increasing productivity. Specifically, he cited the economic modernization program, under which manufacturing companies have purchased $1.5 billion worth of new equipment over the past four years.
