First experimental batch of agricultural products produced in Armenia  sent via alternative routes - premier

ArmInfo. The first experimental batch of agricultural products produced in Armenia has been sent via alternative routes. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this during his campaign.

According to him, several business delegations are working on this  matter. However, Pashinyan noted, Yerevan will not enter into  conflict with Moscow; all issues will be resolved peacefully. "I have  leverage; I'll go and solve these problems," the prime minister said.

He also noted that Armenia is becoming a hub for modern technology  and artificial intelligence, emphasizing that programs implemented in  recent years are already yielding tangible results. Pashinyan touched  on the three memorandums of understanding signed with US President  Donald Trump on August 8, 2025, one of which concerned cooperation in  artificial intelligence. According to the prime minister, there was  criticism at the time regarding the lack of practical significance of  the signed documents.

"What did they say? They said it was a piece of paper, void of legal  force, meaningless, a meaningless document signed for PR purposes,"  he noted. However, according to the prime minister, concrete results  have already been recorded over the past period. "What do we see  today? Less than a year has passed, and we already have an artificial  intelligence center at Yerevan State University, and the first  artificial intelligence factory has already been opened in Gagarin."  "Gegharkunik region," Pashinyan said.

According to him, progress in technology is also linked to state  policy aimed at scientific development.  Pashinyan recalled that  science funding has increased significantly in recent years, and  salaries in the scientific field have risen. He emphasized that the  state has also invested in the development of the military-industrial  complex, noting that these steps have contributed to the creation and  application of new technologies. He noted that today, Armenian  military-industrial companies are already exporting products and  weapons to developed countries.

The prime minister also noted that during the military parade held on  May 28 in Republic Square, both modern weapons produced in various  countries and several weapons manufactured in Armenia were on  display, further demonstrating the country's growing technological  potential.
