ArmInfo. Armenia has once again recorded progressive growth in tax revenue collection during the first five months of 2026, as stated by Eduard Hakobyan, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of the Republic of Armenia, in a post on Facebook.
According to him, during the period of January–May of this year, 1 trillion 290 billion drams in taxes and duties were collected for the state budget. This represents an increase of 164.2 billion drams, or approximately 14.6%, compared to the January–May period of 2025. "Notably, in May 2026 alone, together with taxpayers, we succeeded in generating 204.2 billion drams in taxes and duties for the state budget. This exceeds the figure from the same month last year by 27.1 billion drams, or roughly 15.3%," the head of the SRC noted. He added that simultaneously, 141.4 billion drams were refunded to taxpayers in January–May 2026, which is 15.5 billion drams, or 12.3%, more than in January–May 2025.
"The State Revenue Committee of the RA will continue to consistently execute its functions, contributing to the formation of a fair, predictable, and disciplined tax environment," Hakobyan stated.
