Armenia nominated in two categories for   Wanderlust Reader Travel  Awards 2026

ArmInfo. Armenia has been shortlisted in two categories at the Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards 2026. 

According to the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Armenia, the  country is competing for the titles of "Most Desirable Country in  Europe" and "Most Desirable Emerging Destination." Voting will remain  open until October 27, with the winners announced on November 4  during the World Travel Market (WTM) London international travel  exhibition. 

According to the source,  now marking its 25th anniversary, the  Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards is one of the United Kingdom's most  prestigious travel accolades, with winners determined entirely by  public reader voting. 

It should be noted that, data from the Tourism Committee highlights  that during the first half of 2026, Armenia experienced a 14.8%  increase in tourist arrivals compared to the same period in 2025,  welcoming a total of 1.041 million visitors. Traditional tourist  inflows to Armenia are led by visitors from Russia (40%), Georgia  (15%), and Iran (8%), followed by China, Germany, and the United  States (2% each), Ukraine (1.5%), France (1.3%), Italy (1.2%), India  (1%), and other countries.
