ArmInfo. Armenia's telecommunications and communications sector revenues grew 5.7% year-over-year in the first half of 2026, reaching 87.4 billion drams, according to the Statistical Committee of Armenia. This marks an acceleration from the 1.5% growth recorded in H1 2025 (82.8 billion drams).
Telecommunications sector generated the vast majority of industry revenue—93.3% (81.5 billion drams)— with annual growth accelerating from 2.0% to 5.9% (up from 77.2 billion drams in H1 2025). Moreover, in June alone, the sector's revenue increased by 4.7% to 15.6 billion drams, of which 14.6 billion drams came from the telecommunications sector, with a month-on-month increase of 6.2%.
