ArmInfo. Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan received Elisabetta Falcetti, Executive Director for Turkey and the Caucasus at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The parties discussed a range of issues related to road construction, energy, transport, and water management.
As Khudatyan noted on his Facebook page, he briefed his guest on the progress of joint programs with the EBRD and the upcoming tasks. Specifically, they reviewed the implementation of the joint Gyumri Urban Roads program with the EBRD. In this regard, the head of the department emphasized the importance of launching the program as quickly as possible.
Referring to the solid waste management program, the minister stated that Armenia is interested in continuing the program, as well as in creating other similar landfills and waste management infrastructure in the republic.
As a reminder, the EBRD forecasts 5.5% GDP growth for Armenia in 2026 and 2027.
