ArmInfo. Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan received a delegation led by Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal Al Saud, Chairman of the Gulf Cooperation Fund for Development (AGFUND) and the Prince Talal International Award Committee.
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for developing education, promoting innovative and open educational programs, as well as microfinance and support for small and medium-sized businesses.
The Finance Minister presented infrastructure projects being implemented in Armenia and the "Crossroads of the World" initiative, emphasizing the importance of improving regional connectivity and expanding economic cooperation.
The parties also discussed human capital development, economic inclusiveness, and prospects for joint initiatives. They noted the interconnectedness of development and peace, as well as the role of investments in human capital development and international cooperation in creating conditions for lasting peace.
