ArmInfo. For the first time,"green" bonds were admitted to trading on the AMX | Armenia Securities Exchange, and these are securities issued by Ameriabank, which will be quoted on the Cbond platform. ArmInfo was informed about this in the press service of the exchange.
The volume of these bonds is 42 million euros. The par value of one bond is 1 million euros, and the yield is 3.05%. The circulation period of the bonds of this issue is 60 months. The periodicity of coupon payments is provided every six months.
"As of today, there is a great demand for stable financial instruments in international markets, and one of them is "green" bonds. Companies issue "green" bonds in order to diversify funding sources, as well as financial assistance to "green" projects. We welcome the start of issuing "green" bonds. This event underlines the importance of sources of sustainable development for the country's economy," CEO of AMX Hayk Yeganyan said.
